Slough Town Football Club is proud to announce that Arbour Park will once again host The Big Sleepout on Friday 10th October 2025, in partnership with SHOC (Slough Homeless Our Concern) and Trinity Homeless Project.
This important community event raises both awareness of rough sleeping and homelessness across Slough, and vital funds to support the life-changing work of SHOC and Trinity.
Making a Real Difference
The impact of last year’s Sleepout was remarkable. Together we:
• Supported 959 people experiencing homelessness.
• Provided safe accommodation for 437 individuals.
• Helped 155 people move into their next home.
• Served over 20,000 hot meals.
• Offered 2,000 hot showers and distributed 1,500 items of clothing.
These numbers highlight just how far every pound raised goes in giving people safety, dignity, and the chance to rebuild their lives.
What to Expect on the Night
The Big Sleepout is a challenge event that invites participants to spend one night sleeping outside at Arbour Park. While it can never replicate the true hardship of rough sleeping, the night is a chance for the community to stand in solidarity, show support, and take action.
This year’s event promises:
• Live music and entertainment
• Testimonies from those with lived experience
• Fun challenges and activities
• A return appearance from TV star Alex Horne, who will bring his trademark Taskmaster-style games to the evening celebrations
With food, drinks, and plenty of opportunities to connect, it’s set to be a moving and memorable night.
Get Involved
There are still places available to take part. If you’d like to join the overnight challenge at Arbour Park, you can sign up here: http://www.thebigsleepout.org.uk/.
If you’d prefer to support from home, donations are warmly welcomed at: https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/shoctrinitybigsleepout2025.
Every £100 raised provides someone with:
• A warm, safe place to stay
• Hot showers and clean clothes
• A hot meal
• Tailored support to help them move off the streets
A Community United
This will be the second year running that Arbour Park has hosted The Big Sleepout, and we are proud to stand with SHOC and Trinity once again. Together, we can raise awareness, raise funds, and most importantly, raise hope.
