Full-Time Programme - Performance & Shadow Squads (U18s)

• Elite Full-Time Environment: The Full-Time Programme at Arbour Park represents the starting point of our professional pathway, consisting of our Performance and Shadow Squads (Under 18s). Players train full-time, Monday to Friday, in an environment designed to replicate the standards of the senior game, ensuring they are fully immersed in a professional football setting from day one.
• Structured Development Pathway: This programme forms the foundation of our long-term player pathway, building directly into the Elite Development Squad and ultimately progressing towards the First Team. Players are challenged daily through high-intensity training, internal competition, and a clear development structure that pushes them to reach their maximum potential.
• Professional Coaching & Standards: Our coaching staff deliver a professional, elite-level environment with a strong focus on individual development. Players receive consistent feedback, detailed performance analysis, and tailored support to enhance their technical, tactical, physical, and psychological attributes.
• High-Level Competition: Fixtures take place on Wednesdays in the National League Academy South, where players compete against clubs both at our level and above. This league is widely recognised as the highest standard of competition outside of professional academy football, providing an excellent platform for player exposure and development. In addition, players compete in the prestigious FA Youth Cup, with the club reaching the First Round in the 2025/26 season—highlighting the programme’s competitive quality and ambition.
• Education & Dual Pathway: Alongside full-time football, players study in partnership with Cox Green School Sixth Form. A range of academic options are available, including A Levels and BTEC Sport courses. The education programme is fully integrated with the football schedule, ensuring players receive a balanced experience that supports both their academic and athletic development.
• Holistic Player Development: We are committed to developing well-rounded individuals, not just footballers. The programme instils professionalism, discipline, and resilience, preparing players for the demands of senior football and life beyond the game.
