Our Under 18s Professional Development Phase offers a full time programme designed to prepare players for the demands of senior football, both on and off the pitch. Delivered in partnership with Cox Green Sixth Form School, our players have access to a comprehensive education pathway, studying a range of A Levels and BTEC Sport Diplomas alongside their football commitments. This academic provision is fully integrated with our full time football schedule, which includes competing in the National League U19 Alliance, the FA Youth Cup, and additional fixtures against professional clubs to challenge and stretch our players further. This season (2025/26), our FA Youth Cup run saw us reach the First Round Proper, where we played an away tie against Cambridge United FC at their First Team Stadium, giving our players an experience to truly cherish.
We pride ourselves on building our Under 18s programme around local talented players as well as those who have fallen out of professional academies, a strategy that has continued to serve us well and strengthened our relationships across the game. Training is based at Arbour Park Stadium, the home of Slough Town FC’s First Team, where players train up to four days per week, with one weekly matchday as part of their elite games programme. Within this environment, players experience all aspects of a professional-style programme, including technical and tactical sessions, strength and conditioning, video analysis, individual development work, and personalised learning plans. While we are committed to producing talented footballers capable of progressing into senior football, we pride ourselves even more on developing outstanding young people who embody the values and professionalism of Slough Town FC.
