Location
Located only a 5-minute drive from the town centre and 11 minutes from the M4, Tamblyn Fields is perfectly positioned to become a focal point for the town.
With views of windsor castle and high levels of existing footfall, the site offers a significant opportunity for Slough Town Football Club and the local community to help address Slough's lack of placemaking.
Previously the home of Slough Town Rugby Club, Tamblyn Fields has large open spaces, but requires investment to elevate the existing infrastructure.
The Vision
There are two key objectives for Tamblyn Fields:
- Increase participation in junior football for boys and girls
- Deliver multiple sports, fitness and wellbeing opportunities for all age groups
Slough Town Football Club already has 25 teams with a target of growing this to 50 teams in both boy and girls divisions.
Partners
To assist in delivering the additional sports & activities, the club has been in discussions with potential padel and pickleball, catering and digital sports providers. There are also opportunities for alternative sports, a gym and a wellbeing partner. Confirmed partners are listed below.

Cricketers in Slough will soon be able to experience HiTZ, a tech-powered, data-led batting experience designed to help players improve their game.
Slough RFC
Founded in 1926, Slough Rugby Club train and play at Tamblyn Fields offering opportunities for players of all ages and abilities.
