Matchday Information: Slough Town v Altrincham
Emirates FA Cup, First Round
Saturday 1 November 2025 – Arbour Park
Kick-off: 3.00pm | Turnstiles open: 1.30pm

We are back at Arbour Park this Saturday as we welcome National League side Altrincham in The Emirates FA Cup, First Round.

The Rebels booked their spot in the First Round with a dramatic 3-2 home win against Enfield Town in Fourth Round Qualifying. After going a goal behind in the opening minute, Slough equalised courtesy of Ruben Bartlett-Antwi, but the visitors regained their lead before the break. Wiktor Makowski levelled the scores again in the second half, and Jaiden Drakes-Thomas struck the decisive winning goal two minutes into stoppage time.

Earlier in the competition, Slough defeated Bedfont Sports 2-1 despite playing over an hour with ten men following the dismissal of goalkeeper Adam Desbois. Prior to that, the Rebels edged out Welling United after a replay.

Altrincham entered the competition in Fourth Round Qualifying and needed a replay to overcome Harborough Town. The original tie ended 2-2 at Moss Lane after two very late goals from Harborough. In the replay, Altrincham eventually won 3-0, with all the goals coming in extra time after Harborough had been reduced to 10 men as early as the 7th minute.

The Robins arrive at Arbour Park sitting 19th in The National League table, with a new interim manager in Neil Gibson, following the departure of long-serving manager Phil Parkinson last week.

Should the scores be level after 90 minutes, extra time will be played, with a penalty shootout deciding the tie if necessary. There will be no replay.
