Slough Town are delighted to announce the signings of Luke Holness and Ansu Janneh, who both join the club ahead of a busy run of fixtures.
Holness, 27, is a versatile forward with a strong track record across non-league football. A former Fulham and Crystal Palace academy player, he has represented several clubs in the south of England including Braintree Town, Bracknell Town, Tonbridge Angels, Hemel Hempstead Town and Welling United.
He was Braintree Town’s top goalscorer in the 2021/22 National League South campaign and most recently featured for Aveley during the 2024/25 season and Cray Valley PM at the start of this season. Holness brings pace, strength and directness to the Rebels’ attack, capable of operating both through the middle and out wide.
Janneh, 26, joins the club after recent spells with Lewes and Carshalton Athletic, where his energetic and composed midfield performances caught the eye. He has also represented Billericay Town, Tonbridge Angels, Havant & Waterlooville and Dagenham & Redbridge – where he signed his first professional contract – showing his adaptability across defensive and central midfield roles.
Ansu made an immediate impact on his debut, coming off the bench to score the opening goal in our 2-1 Emirates FA Cup First Round win against Altrincham at Arbour Park – a memorable afternoon for the club and supporters alike.
Both players arrive with strong non-league experience and proven quality at Step 2 and Step 3 level, further strengthening Scott Davies’ squad as the Rebels continue their 2025/26 campaign.
