Slough Town will host National League North side Macclesfield in the Second Round.

03/11/25

The Emirates FA Cup Second Round draw has handed the Rebels another home tie, with National League North side Macclesfield set to visit Arbour Park.

The Silkmen booked their place in the Second Round with a 6-3 victory over National League South side AFC Totton on Saturday, as Danny Elliott fired a first-half hat-trick at The Leasing.com Stadium. Earlier in the competition, Macclesfield recorded qualifying-round wins over Atherton Laburnum Rovers (3-0), Nantwich Town (2-0) and Stamford (1-0).

Macclesfield currently sit 11th in the National League North table, with 21 points from their opening 13 matches.

This will be the first-ever meeting between the two clubs, although the Rebels previously faced the old Macclesfield Town 14 times — including an FA Cup tie in 1998/99. After a 2-2 draw in the original tie, the replay at Wexham Park ended 1-1 before Macclesfield progressed 9-8 on penalties.

The date and kick-off time for the tie are still to be confirmed, with ticket information to follow. Second Round fixtures will be played across the weekend of Saturday 6 December.
