Slough Town Football Club are pleased to announce a new partnership with OnSide, part of the HuddleUp wellbeing platform, aimed at providing confidential support for supporters who may be facing challenges in their everyday lives.

The initiative is designed to give Slough Town fans a simple and accessible way to reach out for help if they are struggling – whether that’s with mental health, addiction, grief, financial pressure or any other personal difficulty.

Through OnSide, delivered by HuddleUp, supporters will be able to access calm, confidential and human-led wellbeing support. The service focuses on real conversations and clear guidance, ensuring people can find the help they need without barriers or complicated processes.

HuddleUp works with organisations to create supportive environments where people feel comfortable talking about their wellbeing. Their approach is centred around listening first, offering practical support and guiding individuals towards the most appropriate help for their situation.

As part of the partnership, Slough Town supporters will have access to a dedicated wellbeing inbox where they can reach out for support and arrange a confidential conversation with one of HuddleUp’s trained team.

The partnership will provide:

• A dedicated SloughTown@huddle-up.co.uk supporter support inbox
• Human triage, real conversations and clear signposting
• Priority access and up to 50% discounted wellbeing support for Slough Town fans
• A genuine, operational wellbeing offer – not just awareness days

Supporters who get in touch will be able to organise a free call with one of the HuddleUp “buddies”, who will talk through any challenges they may be facing and help identify appropriate support options.

Season ticket holders and members of the club’s Fit Through Football programme will also be eligible for 50% off any recommended optional support that may follow the initial conversation.

Alongside direct support, HuddleUp’s wellbeing approach includes a year-round programme designed to encourage people to think about their mental health regularly, not just when they are facing difficulties. Activities can include informal chats, expert talks, practical workshops and team-building style sessions designed to keep wellbeing front of mind.

Conner Botterill, Chief People Officer at OnSide said:

"Football supporters juggle the realities of everyday life – from work and family commitments to financial pressures and stresses that build inside and outside the terraces. OnSide is centred around human-led conversations with trained staff, offering support that feels genuine, confidential, and relevant to everyone. Slough sits at the heart of its community, and we’re proud to be working with the club to benefit supporters, their families, and the wider fanbase by providing help when they need it. Bringing OnSide to Slough Town is a really important partnership for us and we look forward to connecting with you over the coming months and beyond."

Steve Doyle, Commercial Director at Slough Town Football Club said:

"It's fantastic that we can announce this partnership and deliver a platform for fans to reach out for help. It's important for a community focused football club to have real solutions and opportunities to support its fanbase, which I believe OnSide will provide. I would encourage anyone struggling to reach out and talk to someone, no matter how big or small they perceive the issue. The opportunity exists to speak to someone at no cost, and find ways to make a positive difference, so please do!"
