Slough Town Football Club is delighted to confirm that Luke Holness will remain with the Rebels for the 2026/27 season.
The 27-year-old forward will continue at Arbour Park after an encouraging first campaign with the club, with everyone looking forward to seeing him build on last season under the leadership of Alan Julian.
Holness joined Slough Town in October 2025 following a spell with Cray Valley PM and brought with him significant experience from across the non-league game. A former Fulham and Crystal Palace academy player, he has previously featured for clubs including Braintree Town, Bracknell Town, Tonbridge Angels, Welling United and Aveley.
Known for his pace, power and versatility in attack, Holness made 27 appearances in amber and blue last season, scoring five goals despite a campaign disrupted by injury.
After enjoying a strong run in the side during the winter period, Luke suffered an injury which kept him sidelined for around six weeks. Prior to that setback, he had made a major impact with important goals, including the equaliser in the memorable 3-1 Boxing Day win away at Maidenhead United, before following it up with another strike in the 3-0 home victory over Chesham United four days later.
He also ended the season on a high, scoring a well-taken goal in the thrilling 3-2 win over Dagenham & Redbridge at Arbour Park on the final day of the campaign.
Everyone at the club is excited to see Luke return fully fit for the new season and continue to play an important role for the Rebels in 2026/27.
