The club are delighted to confirm that Ryan Case, Jefferson Louis, Alex Wines and Trent Phillips will all remain at the club as part of Alan Julian’s backroom staff for the 2026/27 season.
Ryan Case was appointed as First Team Coach in the summer of 2025 before also taking on the role of Head of Academy in March 2026.
Since initially arriving at the club in 2024 as Elite Development Squad Coach, Ryan has worked tirelessly to enhance all aspects of the programme. Through the continued support of A23 Football Group, the club has ensured that the academy remains at the very core of its long-term vision, with significant success in player development and progression.
In his role as Head of Academy, Ryan oversees the academy programme across all age groups from Under-7 through to Under-19 level, ensuring the delivery model is consistently applied while also supporting academy coaches through continued professional development.
The club’s academy continues to grow across both the male and female pathways, making this an incredibly exciting period for Slough Town FC as it strengthens its player development structure.
Jefferson Louis also remains with the Rebels after returning to the club in the summer of 2025 as Assistant First Team Coach.
Jefferson primarily focuses on working with the club’s strikers, offering specialist coaching and guidance, while also taking on a valuable mentoring role for the younger players within the squad.
Having first joined the Rebels in June 2023 as a Performance Coach, Jefferson played a key role in delivering high-intensity physical training sessions, managing warm-ups and activation routines, and advising on post-match recovery and nutrition.
Goalkeeper coach Alex Wines continues in his role after first joining the club in November 2022.
Alex holds a BSc honours degree in Physical and Sport Education and works as a full-time teacher alongside his coaching commitments. He has coached goalkeepers for more than 15 years across all ages and abilities. His previous coaching experience also includes roles with Bedfont Sports, CB Hounslow, Promise Football Academy, Hampton & Richmond Borough Academy and most recently Lead Goalkeeper coach at QPR’s Development Centre.
Trent Phillips also remains with the Rebels, continuing his long association with the football club.
Trent originally joined Slough Town in the summer of 2013 as goalkeeping coach after spending seven seasons in the same role with Staines Town, quickly becoming a hugely popular figure within the dressing room.
As a player, he made more than 250 first-team appearances for the Swans before injury brought his playing career to an end at the age of 29. Trent followed in the goalkeeping footsteps of his father Gordon, who represented Brentford and was recently inducted into the club’s Hall of Fame.
After departing in November 2022, Trent returned to the club in the summer of 2024 to take on the role of kit manager.
Everyone at Slough Town FC is delighted that Ryan, Jefferson, Alex and Trent will continue to play key roles within Alan Julian’s management team ahead of the new season.
