Slough Town FC are proud to confirm that Arbour Park will host a special Anti-Knife Crime community event on Friday 22 May, bringing together local organisations, community groups and residents for an evening promoting positive change.
Working alongside Thames Valley Police, Safer Slough Partnership, Communities Against Violence and Together As One, the event will once again feature the annual community football match between a Thames Valley Police XI and a team made up of local community members.
Held under the banner “No Knives, Just Vibes”, the event aims to raise awareness around knife crime while creating a safe, welcoming and positive environment for young people and families across the town.
Gates at Arbour Park will open at 5:30pm ahead of a 7:00pm kick-off, with supporters invited to attend free of charge.
Alongside the match itself, there will also be a range of activities available throughout the evening, including virtual reality experiences, arts and crafts, and opportunities for young people to engage with local organisations and learn more about knife crime prevention initiatives.
The event has become a popular fixture within the local community in recent years and reflects the club’s ongoing commitment to supporting projects and partnerships that make a positive impact across Slough.
Everyone is welcome to attend, with no tickets required.
