Slough Town Football Club are delighted to announce the appointment of Juan Fernandez as Assistant Manager of Slough Town Ladies ahead of the new season.
Juan joins the management team to work alongside the vastly experienced Leigh Hunter as the club embarks on an exciting new chapter. They will also be supported by Martin Wenham.
Chief Executive Officer Ashley Smith believes the combination of youth development expertise and experience within the women's game will provide strong foundations for the future.
Ashley said:
"I am delighted that Juan has accepted the role to work alongside the vastly experienced Leigh Hunter as joint manager of the Ladies team.
"Juan has already achieved great success within our boys' academy, developing players and creating highly competitive squads. I feel his fresh energy and excellent football knowledge, coupled with Leigh’s deep experience of the local female football landscape, will prove to be a very exciting combination for our club."
Fernandez is looking forward to the challenge and is eager to help the team continue to develop.
