Rebels add two to squad
Neil Baker and Jon Underwood add two to the Rebels squad as Lewis Putman joins Hayes & Yeading on loan.
We are pleased to announce the loan signing of Manny Williams, who joins us from Hungerford on a one-month loan.
Manny can play in a number of attacking roles and is vastly experienced at a higher level. He will fit in well given that he has played with a number of our players in recent seasons for Maidenhead and Basingstoke.
At the same time Lewis Putman joins Hayes & Yeading on the same basis, a one-month loan, where he will get some much-needed game time. 'Puts' was fantastic for us last season but a combination of injuries and the good form of others has meant he has had limited starts this season. The move is a good one for him and us and we will welcome him back for the run-in.
Also joining the club is experienced target man Ashan Holgate. Ash is well known locally from his time at Maidenhead amongst other clubs and like Manny he knows a number of our players. With his size and style of play he gives us a very different attacking option which is a real positive for the squad.
Both new signings trained with us last night and will be in the squad for tomorrow's trip to Leamington.
