Charlie Moone to depart Rebels
Slough Town Football Club and striker Charlie Moone part company.
We would like to inform everyone that we have today mutually agreed for Charlie to leave the club.
Having brought in Chris Flood and Ashan Holgate in recent months, whilst also having other forward options it was felt that Charlie's time on the pitch would be limited, and he is at a stage of his career that he wants and needs to be playing every week.
His attitude has been first class throughout the season, and has always put the team first. It is a shame that it has not quite worked out for him at Slough, however we and the players wish him the best of luck with his next move and his future career.
