Details of the forthcoming quiz night this Thursday at the Polish Club, together with information about end of season events.
The ever-popular quiz night is back and takes place this Thursday (2nd April) at the Polish Club in Stoke Poges.
Entry fee is £5 per person and the winning team will receive 50% of the total entry fees, so the more entrants, the bigger the prize pot! Teams are restricted to a maximum of 6 entrants each.
The doors open at 7.30pm for an 8pm start.
Breast Cancer Research support day The club is delighted that we have now reached over £1,500 already on pledges for shirts and children’s sponsorship for the Taunton game.
There are still a number of player/staff shirts available to sponsor, so make sure you don’t miss out by contacting Gary Thomas through the website or in person at the Gosport Borough home game this Tuesday.
End of season walk to Didcot Town This season's annual sponsored walk will be to Didcot Town. Sponsorship forms will be available for this event soon. The walk will comprise two legs (Slough to Reading and Reading to Didcot). Walkers have the option of walking both legs or just the second one. Each leg is approximately 20 miles in length.
A book will be kept in the Trust cabin during home matches to register for the walk. When registering, please state if you are walking for one or both days. For more details, contact Gary House.
Club presentation night This will take place at the Polish Club, Stoke Poges on Saturday 25th April, with doors opening at 7.30pm for an 8pm start.
The evening will also include a Race Night. The race card is now open for sponsorship, with the cost of sponsoring a horse £5. The winning owners will receive £10. Tri-cast tickets will also be on sale on the night, with the winning owner on the last race scooping £60.
Contact Alan Harding or Mike Lightfoot if you would like to sponsor a horse.
End of season at The Herschel Arms Herschel Arms landlord Tom King has invited all Slough Town supporters to his pub on Saturday 18th April, after the final away game of the season at Didcot Town, for an end of season drink from about 6.30pm onwards. There will also be a barbeque.
