Pre-season: Squad update
After an exciting end to the 2017/18 season, the squad for next season is taking shape.
Now that we are a few weeks in to the summer we wanted to provide an update for the supporters regarding the squad.
We have now met with all of the squad who finished the season with us and are delighted to confirm that we have agreed terms with everyone to stay. The current squad list on the website is up to date and all players named will be back with us for pre-season.
The one exception, as previously announced, is Matt Lench and our main priority is to bring in a quality replacement. We have identified a target and plan to sit down with him once he returns from holiday this weekend.
We also expect to take a look at another couple of players on a trial basis in pre-season but these situations are never straight-forward when you are not putting a firm offer on the table so we will not be announcing any names until they appear in friendly matches for us.
We will keep everyone updated with any further developments in the coming weeks. Enjoy the break!
