Rebels sign Sonner
Striker Sean Sonner joins the Rebels following his release from Boreham Wood
Slough Town Manager Steve Bateman is delighted to announce the capture of striker Sean Sonner on a permanent basis.
Sonner signed initially on-loan from Boreham Wood for two month-long spells throughout November and December and made six appearances for the Rebels in his short-time at the club, scoring one goal.
The former Northwood and Harefield United striker hugely impressed Rebels supporters during his loan spell at the club with his skill and commitment and is a welcome addition to the Rebels playing squad.
Sonner made his last appearance for Boreham Wood on Monday night as a substitute in Wood’s away victory against Tooting & Mitcham. The striker goes straight into the Slough squad for Saturday’s match against Stourport Swifts.
Although tomorrow’s match is very much on at this stage, supporters are strongly advised to check the official website before leaving for the match due to the current weather conditions.
