Slough Town Community teams crowned Champions
Both Slough Town Community FC teams are crowned champions of their respective divisions after an excellent season.
Our BOBi Conference side had five wins and two draws again without conceding a goal today, and were worthy winners of their division.
Huge congratulations to Alex Efthimiou for managing this team to success in what was a very competitive league.
Meanwhile our League 2 team secured their title before kicking a ball, and played out five scoreless draws as we had one of those days up front.
I will shoulder the blame for a lacklustre performance today having made tactical changes, but we realise that work is required to perform at the next BOBi level next season.
We can all be very proud of what we have achieved so far this year and now move onto the SE Counties Plate Finals in Kent.
