Rebels make squad changes
Rebels add two to squad as one departs.
Slough Town have moved today to bring in two players to their squad, both of whom have had playing time under the Rebels in previous seasons, whilst seeing one of the current squad depart.
Returning to the club are left sided midfielder Chris Herron, following a short spell at fellow Zamaretto Central club Arlesey Town this season.
Herron, who featured twenty five times last season despite not being fully fit, and will add to the options in midfield. Having now returned to full fitness having had a metal plate removed from his leg over the summer, the tricky left midfielder will provide attacking options for the Rebels.
Also returning to the club is goalkeeper Dominique Jean-Zephirin.
Having made forty appearances in his first spells with the club back in 2002/3, the twenty-eight year old Haiti international keeper joins on a month long loan from Blue Square South side Farnborough and will be competing with Jamie Jackson for the number one jersey at the club.
With the recent additions to the squad, keeper Ricky Perks has been released. The dominating keeper has enjoyed just over one season with the club making fifty two appearances in his time with the club. An excellent shot stopper and aerially dominating keeper on his day, but Perks never found a continued spell of form whilst at the club.
We wish Ricky well with his future endaevours and welcome both Chris and Dominique back to the club. Both players will be in the squad to face North Greenford United on Saturday.
