Pre-season preparations begin

A reminder of the pre-season friendly schedule as training begins ahead of the new season.

With the end of last season still fresh in the memory, and Euro 2012 having barely finished, Slough Town’s on-field preparations for the 2012/13 season begin this Tuesday evening with the start of pre-season training.

A programme of six pre-season friendly fixtures has been announced thus far, commencing at Holyport on Tuesday 17 July, and here is a reminder of the fixture list:

Tues 17th July v Holyport (a) - 19:45

Sat 21st July v Binfield (a) - 15:00

Tues 24th July v Flackwell Heath (a) - 19:30

Sat 28th July v Thame United (a) - 15:00

Sat 4th August v Harrow Borough (a) - 15:00

Sat 11th August v Chesham United (a) - The David Stanley Memorial Shield - 15:00

The 2012/13 constitutions for the Southern League were confirmed at the League's Annual General Meeting on 16 June, and Slough Town remain in Division One Central, alongside four new clubs – Godalming Town, Guildford City, Royston Town and Thatcham Town. The full constitution is listed below:
