Slough Town Football Club is proud to announce a brand-new partnership with The Dad Project, a local organisation dedicated to tackling men’s mental health challenges.

Across the UK, one in every eight men experiences a common mental health condition, while current statistics show that three out of four suicides are men. Around 43% of men report regularly experiencing negative mental health wellbeing. These numbers highlight the importance of creating accessible spaces for conversation, understanding and support.

The Dad Project is a men’s mental health platform committed to breaking down the barriers that prevent men from speaking openly about their struggles. Together, we are bringing this essential work directly to the community with an in-person event at Arbour Park.

Entitled ‘The Changing Room’, the session is designed as a safe, welcoming space where attendees can hear powerful lived experiences, share their own stories if they wish, and connect with others who understand the unique challenges men can face. It’s an opportunity to talk, listen and support one another.

The event will take place on Thursday 27th November, from 6pm to 8pm, here at Arbour Park. The session is free of charge, and refreshments will be provided.

All are welcome to drop in, or you can secure your place by booking here: Click here.

Change starts with a conversation — and every man deserves that space.
