Slough Town are pleased to confirm the signing of goalkeeper Alfie Marriott on loan for the remainder of the 2025/26 season.

The 21-year-old shot-stopper arrives from Watford, where he has progressed through the academy system since joining the Hornets as an eight-year-old in 2012.

Born in Watford, Marriott has risen through the club’s youth ranks and earned a third-year scholarship following an impressive 2021/22 campaign within the U18 and U21 set-up. Since the 2023/24 season he has been part of Watford’s senior squad structure, training regularly with the first team while continuing his development in Premier League 2 competition.

Registered as Watford’s number 41, Alfie has been named on the bench for EFL Championship fixtures and has gained valuable experience within a professional first-team environment as he looks to make his senior breakthrough.

A young goalkeeper with strong foundations from a Category One academy, Marriott now makes the move to Arbour Park to gain senior match experience in the National League South following the departure of Adam Desbois.

Everyone at Slough Town welcomes Alfie to the club and wishes him every success during his time in a Rebels shirt.
