Slough Town Football Club is delighted to confirm that club captain Henry Ochieng has committed to the Rebels for the 2026/27 season.
The 27-year-old midfielder remains a hugely influential figure at Arbour Park both on and off the pitch and will continue to play a key role under Alan Julian heading into the new campaign.
Ochieng joined the club in July 2024 and immediately established himself as one of the standout midfielders in the National League South. Following a superb debut season in amber and blue, Henry was deservedly recognised with a remarkable clean sweep of awards, winning the 2024/25 Manager’s Player of the Season, Players’ Player of the Season and Supporters’ Trust Player of the Season honours.
Following the departure of Josh Jackman, Henry took over the captaincy ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.
Unfortunately, his second season with the club was cruelly disrupted by injury. After making 14 appearances, Henry suffered a season-ending ACL injury during the Emirates FA Cup tie against Enfield Town in October, with surgery following in December. His absence was a huge blow to the squad throughout the remainder of the campaign.
Despite that setback, Henry’s leadership and presence around the group remained invaluable, and everyone at the club is excited to see him return during pre-season as he works towards regaining full fitness.
To date, Ochieng has made 64 appearances for the Rebels and his commitment for the 2026/27 season is a major boost for the club.
