Slough Town are delighted to confirm the signing of defender Keenan Quansah ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The 28-year-old centre-back arrives at Arbour Park with a wealth of experience at National League North level, having enjoyed successful spells with Southport and Hereford.
Quansah made 39 appearances for Hereford during the 2025/26 campaign, including 30 starts, scoring once as he continued to demonstrate the reliability and consistency that has made him a highly respected defender in non-league football.
Before his move to Hereford, Quansah spent three seasons with Southport where he became a firm fans’ favourite on Merseyside. During his first season with the Sandgrounders he made 45 appearances, going on to establish himself as one of the club’s most dependable performers.
His impressive displays saw him collect Southport’s Staff & Football Committee Player of the Season award for 2023/24.
Standing at 6ft 3in, Quansah is comfortable operating across the back line and brings a commanding physical presence, athleticism and valuable experience to Alan Julian’s squad.
Keenan began his career in the youth academy at Accrington Stanley before gaining senior experience across the North West with spells at Burscough, Warrington, Mossley, Hyde United and Widnes.
A move to Glossop North End preceded a standout 2021/22 campaign with Stalybridge Celtic, where he made 48 appearances and scored twice before earning his move to Southport.
Quansah, who is the brother of England international Jarell Quansah of Bundesliga side Bayer 04 Leverkusen, now makes the move to Berkshire as the Rebels continue preparations for the new season.
Everyone at Slough Town would like to welcome Keenan to the club.
