Slough Town are delighted to confirm the return of Louis Walsh ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The versatile attacker rejoins the Rebels, turning down offers from other Step 2 clubs, following a sensational season with Thame United, where he registered 25 goals and 14 assists in 37 appearances.
Walsh helped Thame United enjoy an outstanding campaign in the Southern League Central Division, with the club finishing fifth and qualifying for the play-offs before narrowly losing to Hitchin Town, who eventually secured promotion.
The 25-year-old is no stranger to Arbour Park, having previously joined the Rebels in December 2022 following his departure from Barnet.
During his first spell with Slough Town, Walsh made 12 appearances and showed flashes of the pace, creativity and attacking quality that have since made him one of the most dangerous forwards at Step 4.
Capable of operating as a winger or striker, Walsh brings versatility and proven attacking output to Alan Julian’s squad.
Before his initial move to Slough Town, Walsh gained experience in the academies of Barnsley and Nottingham Forest before moving into senior football with Southend United, Barnet, Bedford Town, Oxford City and Thame United.
Following a prolific campaign in Oxfordshire, Walsh now returns to Arbour Park ready to make another impact in Rebels colours.
