Slough Town are delighted to announce the signing of defender Joe Morrison ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The 25-year-old centre-back arrives at Arbour Park from Gosport Borough following an impressive campaign in the Southern League Premier Division South.
A strong and physical defender, Morrison made 36 appearances during the 2025/26 season, scoring three goals and establishing himself as one of the most consistent performers in the Gosport side.
His performances throughout the campaign were recognised by supporters, who voted him the club’s Supporters’ Player of the Season.
Morrison joined Gosport Borough in December 2023 from Beaconsfield Town, where he had become a regular and influential figure in the Rams’ starting line-up.
Since making the move to Privett Park, he has continued to develop his reputation as a dependable and uncompromising defender, combining physicality with leadership and an ability to contribute at both ends of the pitch.
Before his spell at Beaconsfield, Morrison gained experience with Hartley Wintney, Walton Casuals, Egham Town and Woking.
Comfortable in the heart of defence and renowned for his strength and aerial presence, Morrison now joins the Rebels as Alan Julian continues to strengthen his squad ahead of the new season.
