Slough Town FC is delighted to once again be working alongside our partners The Slough Explorer and Viva Slough to bring you Slough Olympica 2026, taking place on Sunday 23 August.
Following the success of the inaugural event at Arbour Park two years ago, which welcomed more than 1,600 local residents, this year's event promises to be even bigger and better. The event moves next door to Lynch Hill Enterprise Academy, allowing even more activities to take place, including a wider range of indoor sports.
Slough Olympica is a celebration of everything that makes our town's sporting and creative communities so special. Local sports clubs will once again be joined by a variety of creative organisations, giving visitors the opportunity to discover new hobbies, meet local groups and find out how to get involved.
As well as information stalls from clubs and organisations across Slough, visitors will be able to take part in a dedicated participation area where coaches and volunteers will introduce the basic skills of a range of sports through fun, interactive sessions suitable for all ages.
There will also be live demonstrations from sports and creative groups throughout the day, alongside children's games and family-friendly activities to keep everyone entertained.
A selection of food stalls will be available, while health and wellbeing organisations are also expected to attend, showcasing the many opportunities available across the town to help residents stay active, healthy and connected.
