Slough Town Football Club would like to make supporters aware of an important change to the admission policy for younger fans ahead of the 2026/27 season.
As part of the National League's updated Ground Regulations, all supporters under the age of 14 must now be accompanied by a responsible adult aged 18 or over when attending matches at Arbour Park.
The new requirement applies across all National League clubs and comes into effect from the start of the 2026/27 season.
What does this mean?
From the start of the new season:
• Supporters aged 13 and under will not be permitted to enter Arbour Park unless accompanied by a responsible adult (18+).
• The accompanying adult must remain with them throughout their visit to the stadium.
• We may request ID is shown to verify age.
This change follows consultation between the National League, its member clubs and policing partners, and has been introduced to strengthen safeguarding measures and provide a consistent approach across the competition.
Why has the policy changed?
Football grounds can present a number of challenges for younger supporters, including large crowds, standing areas, restricted sightlines and the heightened atmosphere of matchdays.
Requiring children under the age of 14 to attend with a responsible adult helps to:
• Reduce the risk of children becoming separated from family or friends.
• Ensure immediate support is available should a child require assistance.
• Meet safeguarding standards adopted across football and other licensed venues.
We thank supporters for their understanding and cooperation as we implement this National League requirement and continue to provide a safe, welcoming environment for everyone attending matches at Arbour Park.
