Slough Town Football Club can confirm that Dan Roth has suffered a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament (ACL).
The versatile defender/midfielder sustained the injury during the second half of our pre-season fixture against Oxford City last month.
While there is currently no definitive timescale for his return, the injury is expected to rule Dan out for the whole of the 2026/27 season.
The Club has set up a GoFundMe page for supporters who would like to help Dan financially during what will undoubtedly be a difficult period. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will be greatly appreciated and will make a real difference as Dan begins his road to recovery.
Supporters can donate online via the GoFundMe page, while there will also be bucket collections around Arbour Park ahead of our first home National League South match, against Farnham Town on Tuesday 18 August, for those who wish to contribute in person.
