Slough Town Football Club is pleased to announce a 12-month partnership with IDentiSurge, which will see the Club trial its innovative identification and safety system as part of our ongoing commitment to improving matchday safety and the overall experience for supporters.
The 12-month trial will form an important part of the Club's continued matchday ground safety review, helping us assess how technology can support existing safety procedures and provide additional tools to assist with the effective management of matchdays.
The trial will initially focus on the 14-21 age group, where greater safeguarding is required. All supporters aged 14–21 will require an IDentiSurge account to access Arbour Park on a matchday.
The account is FREE for Slough Town supporters, with more details on how to set up an account provided below.
Whilst the Club acknowledges that this is an additional requirement for entry on a matchday, we have seen an increase in poor fan behaviour which has led to us increasing the requirements for security and segregation on matchdays. This can impact the experience of the vast majority of supporters.
We recognise that, to maintain the authentic non-league matchday experience, we must also implement new security systems to help protect supporters from some of the behaviour experienced at matches.
Away supporters aged 14-21 will also require an IDentiSurge account to access Arbour Park, with one-day passes available for £1.99.
The trial will begin at our upcoming game against Folkestone Invicta on Saturday 29th August and will be in place for the 2026/27 season. Supporters who have pre-purchased tickets will receive further information outlining what they need to do before attending.
Commercial Director, Steve Doyle commented: "We're pleased to be working alongside IDentiSurge and continuing to develop our own security processes to ensure fans have an enjoyable matchday.
"There has been an underlying issue affecting non-league football, where a small minority of individuals attending matches are intent on anti-social behaviour. We won't be tolerating this behaviour and will continuously work to deliver a fun, safe and enjoyable matchday for all supporters.
"While the trial initially focuses on the 14-21 age group, we will have the opportunity to review this and include more age groups depending on the behaviour we see. We're aware that this will be an additional step for younger fans, but it is a quick and simple process. Once Slough Town fans sign up, the registration will be valid for the remainder of the season. However, I encourage fans to complete this prior to coming to a game as they will not be able to enter Arbour Park without it.
"We're grateful to Inih and IDentiSurge for working alongside us this season and will continue looking for ways to deliver an enjoyable and safe matchday for all supporters."
