Slough Town are delighted to announce the signing of 25-year-old right-back Jordan Thomas.
Thomas joins the Rebels following two seasons with Torquay United, having initially spent the second half of the 2024/25 season on loan at Plainmoor from Yeovil Town.
The London-born defender played a significant part in Torquay's promotion challenge in 2024/25, making 30 appearances and scoring once as the Gulls finished second in the National League South before losing to Boreham Wood in the play-off semi-finals.
Thomas subsequently signed permanently for Torquay in June 2025 and made 37 appearances in all competitions during the 2025/26 season.
Prior to joining Torquay, Thomas signed for Yeovil Town in the summer of 2024 from Hampton & Richmond Borough. He spent the first half of the 2024/25 campaign on loan at Salisbury before moving to Torquay in November 2024 for the remainder of the season.
Thomas began his career with Charlton Athletic, joining the club at the age of six and entering their academy at nine. He later joined Huddersfield Town on a scholarship at 16.
He progressed into Huddersfield's Under-23 side before signing his first professional contract with Championship club Norwich City in January 2018. Thomas made his Norwich Under-23 debut later that month and was named among the first team substitutes on three occasions during the 2019/20 season before making his Premier League debut against Manchester City on the final day of the campaign.
Thomas subsequently gained Football League experience with Leyton Orient during a loan spell in 2020/21, making four appearances in League Two, before moving into non-league football with Barnet.
He made 27 appearances in the National League for Barnet during the 2021/22 season and later joined Hampton & Richmond Borough permanently in March 2023.
Thomas now brings National League and National League South experience to the Rebels, along with a career that has seen him develop through professional academies and play at Premier League, EFL and National League level.
