Slough Town Football Club is working with Slough Is Now, Slough Borough Council’s inward investment programme, with the initiative featuring on the rear of the Club’s away shirt.
The partnership, which began at the start of 2026, aims to support Slough Is Now’s goals of increasing investment in the town, promoting Slough as a place to invest, develop, work and do business, and supporting the wider community.
Slough Is Now brings together businesses, developers, institutions and organisations already invested in the town, while also showcasing Slough to potential new investors and partners.
The partnership with Slough Town FC aligns with those ambitions, recognising the Club’s important place within the town and its strong connection with the local community.
Pat Hayes, Executive Director of Regeneration, Environment and Planning at Slough Borough Council, said:
“We’re really pleased to be partnering with Slough Town FC through Slough is Now. The programme is about championing Slough, building confidence in the town and bringing together the businesses, investors, institutions and communities that have a stake in its future.
“Slough Town FC has an important place in the town and its community, so this partnership gives us a great opportunity to strengthen those connections and help tell a positive story about Slough and its future.”
Slough Town FC Commercial Director Steve Doyle said the Club was proud to support the programme and its ambitions for the town.
“We're proud to be working with Slough Is Now as we share the ambition of making Slough a better place to live, work and socialise. We know there are challenges to achieving this, but we can only make change by working together.
“We wanted Slough Is Now on the away shirt so we could take the message on the road with us. There is a very real belief that positive change is coming to the area and we can play a big part in the town's regeneration. Our hope is that Rebels fans can get behind our objectives and we can start to change the perception of the town.”
