Slough Town are delighted to announce the signing of 27-year-old central midfielder Dennis Adeniran.
Adeniran began his career in the Fulham academy and made his professional debut for the club in the League Cup against Leyton Orient in August 2016, scoring in a 3-2 victory. He also made one league appearance before joining Everton in 2017.
The midfielder gained first-team experience during a season-long loan with Wycombe Wanderers in 2020/21, making 21 league appearances in the EFL Championship.
He subsequently joined Sheffield Wednesday, making 40 league appearances in EFL League One and scoring five goals across two seasons. During the 2021/22 campaign, he was named the club's Fans' Player of the Month for September, before an operation ruled him out for the remainder of the season.
Adeniran later spent time in Portugal with Primeira Liga side Portimonense before moving to Israel, where he made eight league appearances and scored once for Hapoel Petah Tikva.
He returned to British football with Scottish Premiership side St Mirren in 2024/25, making six league appearances, before joining Barnet ahead of last season. He made 10 league appearances for the Bees, scoring once.
Adeniran also represented England at U17, U18 and U19 level, winning 22 youth caps in total and featuring at the 2016 UEFA European Under-17 Championship.
With experience across the EFL, Scottish Premiership and overseas, Adeniran adds further senior experience to Slough Town's midfield.
Dennis is available for selection in tonight’s National League South match against Ebbsfleet United.
