Rebels ready for Islanders
With the crunch clash with Newport IOW looming, Rebels manager Derek Sweetman provides supporters with an update ahead of the game.
The squad are very focused and understand that three points is the only result that will keep us in with a chance of survival Derek Sweetman Hi everyone, I thought it would be a good idea just to keep you all updated with the latest squad news seeing as we won't have our fantastic programme notes to catch up, so I will write a few notes to keep you in the loop this week and next.
After a very high spirited and enjoyable training session last night I can confirm that only two out of our squad of twenty players are not available for then journey into "Europe" at the weekend. Dean Harper and Ryan Wharton are unavailable but both should be ok for the long trip to Bridgwater on Tuesday.
We know that Saturdays game is a must win game and the squad are very focused and understand that three points is the only result that will keep us in with a chance of survival. This in itself will put an enormous amount of pressure on the game especially as Newport already know their fate.
The boys are in a determined mood and if we apply ourselves to the task properly I'm sure we will return home still in the race.
Hope to see and hear you all across the water.
Sweets.
