Slough Town manager Derek Sweetman has moved swiftly to add to his squad ahead of the clash at Cirencester Town on Saturday with the addition of Scott Webb from Marlow.

Webb, a 26 year old defender, is capable of playing on either flank and will give the Rebels manager further options to his backline, particularly with a two game suspension still hanging over Dean Harper due to recent postponements.

Whilst having not featured for Marlow in recent months due to work commitments, the defender is now able to focus his time on his football and will be a valuable addition to the Rebels as they prepare for the remainder of the season. Sweetman is fully aware of the players capabilities having previously managed the defender in his time with Marlow. "It's another local lad which we've added to our squad. He's a quick player and will fit in well with our existing squad and having managed him before, I know the additional qualities he will bring to our side." said the Rebels manager.

Following on from last weeks move to Flackwell, James Pritchard will continue to work closely with the Rebels as the two clubs will share a close relationship and look to share players on a dual registration basis over the coming months. The process is already reaping benefits with young striker Stan Mugisha currently registered with Hillingdon Borough and has already impressed the local management there.

Slough will look to return to first team action as they travel to Cinderford on Saturday for only their second competetive fixture of 2009, whilst the youth team are set to play Chalfont St. Peter on Tuesday evening.
