Jefferson Louis

Jefferson Louis Position: Management

Bio

Jefferson Louis returned to Slough Town in the summer of 2025 as Assistant First Team Coach, bringing a wealth of experience from both his playing and coaching career.

A well-known and respected figure within non-league football, Jefferson works closely with the club’s attacking players, providing specialist coaching for the strikers while also acting as an important mentor for younger members of the squad.

Jefferson first joined the Rebels in June 2023 as Performance Coach, where he played a key role in delivering high-intensity physical sessions, overseeing warm-ups and activation work, and supporting players with recovery and nutrition advice.

His knowledge of the game, strong personality and ability to connect with players have made him a hugely valued member of the management team.

Jefferson’s extensive experience within the non-league game, both on and off the pitch, continues to be an important asset for Slough Town as the club looks to build and develop under Alan Julian.

Jefferson announced his retirement from playing after the 2024/25 season, bringing the curtain down on an extraordinary career that spanned almost 30 years. After starting out in non-league football, he earned a move to Oxford United in 2002, and went on to represent numerous clubs across the country – most recently turning out for Thame United last season.

Jefferson also made five appearances for Slough Town in 2022 and 2023, supporting Scott Davies early in his managerial tenure.
