Alex Wines

Bio

Alex Wines is Slough Town’s Goalkeeper Coach and has been part of the club’s coaching staff since joining following the appointment of Scott Davies as manager in 2022.

Alex holds a BSc honours degree in Physical and Sport Education and works as a full-time teacher alongside his coaching commitments. He has coached goalkeepers for more than 15 years across all ages and abilities. His previous coaching experience also includes roles with Bedfont Sports, CB Hounslow, Promise Football Academy, Hampton & Richmond Borough Academy and most recently Lead Goalkeeper coach at QPR’s Development Centre.

Known for his enthusiasm, professionalism and strong technical coaching, Alex plays an important role in the continued development of the club’s goalkeepers and wider coaching environment.
