Donovan Chislett Position: Management

Bio

Donovan Chislett joined Slough Town as Men’s First Team Assistant Manager in May 2026, linking up once again with manager Alan Julian following their time working together at Hampton & Richmond Borough.

A highly respected coach with a strong reputation in player development, Chislett brings a wealth of experience from both youth and senior football. He is best known for his long-standing association with Metropolitan Police FC, where he served as Head Coach of the club’s U18 side for several years.

During his time at Imber Court, Chislett oversaw a sustained period of success, leading the young Blues to multiple honours including the Surrey Youth Cup, Isthmian Youth League title and the Champion of Champions crown across the Isthmian youth divisions. His side also enjoyed notable runs in the FA Youth Cup, reaching the Proper Rounds and competing against professional academy teams such as Burnley, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Portsmouth.

Renowned for his ability to develop emerging talent, Chislett played a key role in helping a number of players progress into the professional game, with scouts from Football League clubs regularly in attendance at youth fixtures during his tenure.

Following his departure from the Metropolitan Police U18 setup in 2021, Chislett continued his coaching pathway with Sutton United, taking on the role of U16s Lead Coach and further enhancing his track record in elite youth development.

He moved into senior football in 2024, joining Hampton & Richmond Borough as Assistant Manager, where he formed a strong working partnership with Alan Julian.

Chislett now arrives at Arbour Park as part of Julian’s backroom team, bringing energy, experience and a proven eye for player development as Slough Town look to build for the future.
