Under Strength Slough Comfortably Beaten

The above match was played in Kidwell's Park on Saturday, before a large attendance. Slough for various reasons were unable to put their full team in the field, but capable substitutes were found.

The Norfolkians were without H. Harrington, whose place was filled by T. Adaway, who, considering he has not played for some time, gave a very good account of himself.

In the first half the Norfolkians played towards the Marlow read goal, and the game had not been in progress very long when Moore scored a fine goal for them.

The same player added another point just before the interval, and the teams changed over with the Norfolkians leading by two goals to nil.

Second half was more evenly contested and the Slough men put in some good work. The forwards, met with a sound defence and could not break through.

After a spirited attack by the Norfolkians left wing Moore again did the needful scoring a third goal for his side.

No further scoring took place and the game resulted in the capital win for the Norfolkians by three goals to none.
