Green On Five Star Form

Green hit five past under performing Rebels.

We had an early shock when the Green netted in the first minute, but the point was not allowed, the goalkeeper being impeded.

Soon afterwards we missed a penalty. Then onward everything appeared to go wrong - it was one of those days.

Golders Green on this showing are one of the best teams in the League. They thoroughly deserved their success.

Gorman equalised their first goal but the score was 2-1 against us at half time.

In the second half, we had the wind behind us but every serious visit the Green made to our end resulted in their scoring.

We hit the crossbar but it was very near the end before Gorman scored our second.

Our defence worked hard, but our forward could never hit a happy understanding - frankly speaking, it was our off day.
