Wycombe Wanderers 4-1 Slough Town

At Wycombe on Saturday, play was very fast at the start, but the Wanderers had the best of matters on the whole, and after 25 minutes play Roberts scored from a corner. This was the only goal prior to the interval.

In the second half Wycombe had Slough completely beaten. Bryan found the net on two occasions, Blatchford got home with a fine shot.

Slough reduced the lead by Roberts, who scored from a breakaway. This was all they could do, and for the remainder of the game Wycombe pressed severely, but Tilly played a safe game in goal, and certainly proved the saviour of his side.
