Credible Draw For Slough

These teams met in the return match at the Dolphin ground on Wednesday evening, when Slough gave their opponents a much better game, and at half-time the score sheet was a blank. Having been defeated by five goals to 0 at Brentford on the previous Saturday this was a marked improvement for the Slough team.

In the second half Slough played up surprisingly well and for the first quarter of an hour had quite as much of the game as Brentford.

At the expiration of that time Blake open the score for Slough with a fine a bleak shot from a pass out by Whiteman.

After this Brentford showed up strongly and after Werrell had once saved finally brown put in a shot from the right which hit the post and glided around Werrell, who scooped it out. Brentford claim that the ball had passed over the line and the referee allowed the point.

Rest of the game was well contested, but no addition was made to the score, and the match ended in a draw of one goal each.
