Town Made It Look Easy

Slough Town made Bletchley look very small beer in this replayed FA Cup-tie in North Bucks on Tuesday evening and their three clear goal success did not in the least flatter them. In the next round Slough go to Banbury and, as Bletchley recently won there comfortably, form points to another Town triumph.

Slough made one change from Saturday's line-up, Nathan replacing O'Sullivan. The first half was all Slough, in fact Bletchley only had one shot at goal throughout the 45 minutes. After 10 minutes Reid, who was the man of the match, crossed for Chatterton to beat Wells with a shot the keeper should have saved.

In the second half Slough continued to dominate the scene and Day scored after 51 minutes with a swerving shot which completely deceived Wells. To emphasise their superiority Chatterton added Slough's third goal when he slammed the ball into the net off the post following good work by Reardon.
