Maidenhead Norfolkians 3-0 Slough Town

This match was played in Kidwell's Park on Saturday last before a very fair attendance.

The visitors started with nine men only, but after play had been in progress about ten minutes one of the absentees put in an appearance.

The Norfolks scored through Rackstraw early in the game, and Snapes notched a second point for the homesters.

The Slough forwards were very weak, and the home custodian was very seldom troubled.

Just before the interval Goom failed to convert a penalty for the Norfolks, who at half-time led by 2 goals to nil.

The second half was very uninteresting, the Norfolks always having the result in their own hands, but they only managed to score on one occasion. Werrell, the Slough custodian, gave a fine exhibition.

The visitors failed to penetrate the home defence, and retired defeated by 3 to nil.
