Rebels win Trophy tie at Twerton Park

Dave Russell's wonder goal settles this FA Trophy second replay tie at Twerton Park in Bath.

Dave Russell's wonder goal and some of the best passing football ever played by a Slough Town team all contributed to a memorable victory over the eventual Southern League runners-up in this FA Trophy second replay tie at Twerton Park in Bath.

Owing to an injury to Trevor Porter, Graham Roope was thrust into the game, without having ever played for Slough before. His immaculate handling was another key factor in the Rebels' success on the day.
