Rebels Crash Out Of County Cup

First half Ashby strike enough to send Rebels Out.

Fielding a side with a number of changes including first team squad players, Slough battled hard on a heavy sodden pitch in blustery and often wet conditions.

Both sides took their time to find their cohesion and what proved to be the only goal of the game came after 33 minutes. A Robinson cross from the right was deflected by Bedford into the path of Ashby who drove home from close range.

The second half was spoilt by the weather, we worked hard with both Brace and Quamina dealing well with the threat of Aylesbury's Hercules.

Slough pressed forward towards the end but could not find an equaliser.
