Rebels see off Flackwell in latest warm-up

Slough Town win comfortably at Flackwell Heath in the latest pre-season friendly.

Slough Town won comfortably at Flackwell Heath in their latest pre-season friendly.

The returning Ollie Burgess gave Slough the lead with a long-range strike in the first half, and the Rebels also hit the bar.

In the second half, Dan Burnell converted a penalty after a handball and also wasted two glorious opportunities to score.

Dominic Rhone added a third after he capitalised on Flackwell's inability to clear, coming inside onto his right foot before blasting in.

The match was another useful workout for the squad, including trialists Omar Vassell, Saul Otobo, Joe Kelly and Sean Fraser.
