Slough shut out at Leverstock

Goalless draw for Slough in an 80-minute match at Leverstock Green.

Slough Town drew 0-0 at Leverstock Green in an 80-minute match in their latest pre-season warm up.

Neither side could find a route to goal, but Slough were able to give Danny Murphy much-needed game time, the full-back playing the entire match.

Steve Bateman also fielded trialists Liam Fowler, a defender who turned out for Northwood last season and has recently been training at Chesham, and Martin Gritton, the 34-year-old striker who has vast Football League experience and has most recently been at Truro City.

The result makes it five clean sheets out of five in pre-season for Slough.

Next up for Slough is a trip to Dave Anderson's Harrow Borough this Saturday, KO 15:00.
