Slough Draw With Reading

Only a small company witnessed the Reading Amateurs v. Slough match at Reading on Saturday. A well-contested game ended in a draw of one goal each.

Neither side had scored at the interval, but in the latter half Reading obtained a goal from a penalty and Nicholas equalised for Slough.

Another thirty minutes play was started, but owing to darkness setting in the match was stopped when nine minutes remained, no further goals being scored.
