Amateurs Coast To Decisive Win

This postponed tie was decided at Caversham on Saturday, and the home club gained a decisive victory by 5 goals to 2.

Ten minutes from the start, F. Dean opened the score for Reading, but Slough equalised, and at the interval the score was one each.

With the win assisting them, the Amateurs did most of the pressing in the second half, and scoring 4 goals against 1 by Slough.

The Slough goals were scoring by Summersby and Nicholas, Wheatley was to have played but didn't catch his train. That was why Wakeham was included in the eleven.
