Goals from Elliot Benyon and Sam Ashton sealed a pre-season win at Jon Underwood’s Beaconsfield Town.

It was 90 more minutes ticked off for Scott Davies’ squad, with Davies himself playing the whole match. Trialists Tyrese Dyce, Sam Ashton, Harvey Harry and Eitel Goueth were included.

Pace and trickery from Dyce on the left set up Slough’s first goal, with his cross tucked home by Benyon from six yards on 33 minutes.

A quickly-taken free kick from Davies set up Ashton for the second goal eight minutes from time.

Next for the Rebels is a home game against Wingate & Finchley on Tuesday evening.
